Join the movement to amplify Black voices in the podcast industry with the Afros & Audio Podcast Festival Ambassador Program. As a cornerstone of our mission, we seek passionate individuals committed to community, collaboration, and change. Our program is designed to elevate the global presence of Black indie podcast creatives and audio professionals, fostering a more inclusive and diverse podcast industry.

Ambassador Responsibilities

As an ambassador, you play a crucial role in shaping the future of podcasting. Use your voice to promote Afros & Audio’s annual podcast festival, workshops, meetups, and mission, ensuring the message reaches far and wide. We'll provide you with all the necessary promotional materials and information to make your efforts impactful and aligned with our brand voice.

 

Your responsibilities include:

• Content Creation: Create and publish Social Media Stories and reels, Podcast Segments, and newsletter Blurbs with your audience showcasing the vibrant community and the impact of our collective efforts.

• Social Media Engagement: Actively participate in conversations across platforms (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn) at least three times a week, by reposting Afros & Audio content and/or Media Kit Assets. encouraging dialogue and fostering a supportive environment for Black podcast creatives and audio professionals.

• "Street Team" Marketing: Afros & Audio will supply ambassadors with flyers and stickers. These can be used at events or businesses that match our audience, either as leave-behinds, swag bag items, or for distribution.

 

Ambassador Incentives

Our ambassadors are invaluable, and we celebrate your contributions with rewards designed to recognize your hard work and commitment:

• Visibility Boost: We'll feature your relevant content on our channels, tagging your social media or brand, to amplify your message and grow your audience.

• Exclusive Rewards: All Ambassadors will receive a unique code for ticket sales, with special incentives for milestones reached. After the sale of 10 tickets, choose between a VIP festival ticket or its cash equivalent. Beyond the 10th ticket, enjoy a 15% kickback from the cost of each additional ticket sold.

Our top three ambassadors (sell 25+ tickets), based on engagement and impact, will receive extraordinary rewards:

• Conference Weekend Perks: Enjoy hotel accommodations At the Conference host hotel (or equivalent Hotel rate) for the conference weekend.

• Exclusive Memberships: Receive a complimentary 1-year membership to the Black Podcasters Association and 1-year access to all virtual training sessions.
