Afros & Audio Affiliate Program – Terms & Conditions

Thank you for your interest in the Afros & Audio Affiliate Program. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your participation as an affiliate ("Affiliate," "You") in the program operated by Afros & Audio LLC ("We," "Us," "Our").

 

By enrolling, you agree to the following:

1. Program Overview

  • Affiliates will receive a 25% commission on every ticket sale made through their unique code or link until July 31, 2025.

  • Affiliates who are approved before or on July 31, 2025, will maintain their 25% commission rate for all 2025 festival ticket sales through October 19, 2025.

  • Starting August 1, 2025, new affiliates will earn a 20% commission unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

  • The Affiliate Program is designed to reward individuals and organizations who actively promote the Afros & Audio Podcast Festival.

2. Eligibility

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

  • Affiliates must submit an application and be accepted into the program.

  • We reserve the right to approve or decline any application at our sole discretion.

3. Ticket Types and Commission Structure

Affiliates will earn commissions based on the ticket type and the purchase stage. The following ticket types are available for the Afros & Audio 2025 Podcast Festival:

  • Student/Senior Ticket – $150 (flat price; does not increase across ticket stages)

  • VIP Student/Senior Ticket – $200 (flat price; does not increase across ticket stages)

  • Weekend Only (WKD) Ticket – $225 (Presale), $275 (Early Bird), $325 (General Admission)

  • VIP Ticket – $275 (Presale), $325 (Early Bird), $375 (General Admission)

Affiliates approved before or on July 31, 2025, will earn 25% commission for each ticket sold. This commission will be calculated based on the gross ticket price, excluding taxes, processing fees, or refunds.

Affiliates approved after August 1, 2025, will earn 20% commission on ticket sales.

Commission Examples for Affiliates at 25%:

  • Student/Senior Ticket: $37.50 commission

  • VIP Student/Senior Ticket: $50.00 commission

  • Weekend Only Ticket: $56.25 (Presale), $68.75 (Early Bird), $81.25 (General Admission)

  • VIP Ticket: $68.75 (Presale), $81.25 (Early Bird), $93.75 (General Admission)

Commission Examples for Affiliates at 20%:

  • Student/Senior Ticket: $30.00 commission

  • VIP Student/Senior Ticket: $40.00 commission

  • Weekend Only Ticket: $45.00 (Presale), $55.00 (Early Bird), $65.00 (General Admission)

  • VIP Ticket: $55.00 (Presale), $65.00 (Early Bird), $75.00 (General Admission)

Ticket sales made through the affiliate’s unique code or link are the only sales eligible for commission. Commission earnings are subject to adjustments in the event of customer refunds or chargebacks.

4. Payouts

  • Payouts are made monthly via PayPal or bank transfer.

  • Affiliates must accrue a minimum of $50 in earned commissions before payout.

  • If an affiliate does not reach the minimum threshold, earnings will roll over to the next month.

  • Payments are typically processed by the 7th business day of the following month.

  • Affiliates are responsible for providing accurate payout information.

5. Refunds & Chargebacks

  • If a ticket is refunded or subject to a chargeback, the commission for that sale will be deducted from the Affiliate’s payout.

  • If the payout has already been made, the deducted amount will be reflected in the next payout.

6. Promotion Guidelines

  • Affiliates must promote authentically and transparently.

  • Affiliates must not:

    • Use spam techniques.

    • Misrepresent Afros & Audio or make false claims.

    • Purchase tickets using their own affiliate link/code.

  • Affiliates should disclose their affiliate relationship as required by the FTC.

7. Marketing Materials

  • Approved marketing assets will be provided, including logos, graphics, suggested captions, and talking points.

  • Affiliates may not alter official materials without written permission.

8. Program Modifications

  • Afros & Audio reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Affiliate Program at any time, with or without notice.

  • Significant changes (such as commission adjustments) will be communicated via email.

9. Termination

  • We reserve the right to terminate an affiliate relationship immediately if:

    • Terms are violated.

    • Unethical or illegal behavior is discovered.

    • Brand misrepresentation occurs.

  • Affiliates may also request to withdraw from the program at any time.

10. Limitation of Liability

  • Afros & Audio is not responsible for:

    • Technical issues or tracking problems.

    • Lost or delayed payments due to incorrect payout information.

  • Participation in the program does not constitute an employment relationship or agency.

11. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Maryland.
